BY THE NAVODAYAN, FOR THE NAVODAYAN

Our Community. Our Responsibility. Our Shared Growth.

This platform is created exclusively for the Navodayan family — people connected through the shared experience of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

Our purpose is simple: To create a trusted ecosystem where Navodayans help Navodayans grow.

We want this forum to become a place where members can:

  • Connect with fellow Navodayans across India and beyond.

  • Seek professional advice, guidance, and mentorship.

  • Discover business opportunities and career openings.

  • Promote Navodayan-owned businesses, products, and services.

  • Share knowledge, experiences, and useful resources.

  • Find collaborators, partners, clients, and co-founders.

  • Help fellow Navodayans overcome professional and personal challenges.

  • Support entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and aspiring founders.

  • Build meaningful relationships beyond school and batch boundaries.

This is not just another discussion group. It is a community built on trust, respect, contribution, and mutual growth.

This community is exclusively intended for:

  • Former students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

  • Current students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, subject to age-appropriate participation and applicable platform safeguards.

  • Navodayans working in India or abroad.

  • Navodayan entrepreneurs, business owners, founders, consultants, professionals, freelancers, and creators.

  • Navodayans pursuing higher education or building their careers.

Members may be asked to verify their Navodayan association through a reasonable verification process.

Important: Membership does not imply endorsement by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, any individual JNV, or the Government of India. This is an independent community initiative.

Every member is expected to follow these principles.

3.1 Brotherhood and Belonging

Treat every Navodayan as a member of one extended family, regardless of batch, state, language, profession, financial background, or personal circumstances.

3.2 Mutual Respect

Respect different opinions, experiences, achievements, and perspectives. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.

3.3 Give Before You Expect

Contribute knowledge, guidance, opportunities, and assistance wherever possible. Do not treat the community merely as a source of free leads or customers.

3.4 Collaboration Over Competition

Support fellow Navodayan businesses and professionals. Healthy competition is acceptable, but deliberately undermining another member is not.

3.5 Integrity and Transparency

Be honest about your identity, qualifications, experience, products, services, pricing, and intentions.

3.6 Growth for Everyone

Celebrate small achievements as much as major milestones. This community should encourage beginners as well as established professionals.

Community trust depends on respecting personal information.

Members must:

  • Respect the privacy of other members.

  • Obtain permission before sharing another member's contact details.

  • Avoid publishing personal phone numbers, addresses, private photographs, or documents without consent.

  • Never share screenshots of private conversations without permission, except where necessary to report abuse or protect someone.

  • Avoid requesting passwords, OTPs, bank credentials, or other sensitive information.

  • Use private messages responsibly.

  • Report suspected privacy violations to moderators.

Never assume that information shared in the community is automatically public.

Members should also avoid sharing sensitive personal information unnecessarily, even in private discussions.

  1. Maintain a polite, professional, and welcoming tone.

  2. Keep discussions relevant to the community's purpose.

  3. Use appropriate categories when starting a new discussion.

  4. Search existing discussions before posting repetitive questions.

  5. Share meaningful information instead of flooding the forum.

  6. Avoid unnecessary tagging, repeated mentions, and excessive notifications.

  7. Do not post misleading information, fabricated claims, or unverified allegations.

  8. Do not derail discussions with unrelated arguments.

  9. Respect moderators and community decisions.

  10. Take personal disputes outside public discussions where appropriate, without harassment or intimidation.
